US fragrance oils are measured by weight, not volume, but I don't think this is fair, and I will never send out a half-empty bottle! I will always fill my bottles to the exact fluid measurement that I have stated (or a bit more!) so you will always receive a full bottle of fragrance oil from my shop! 1 US fluid ounce (1oz) = approx 30 millilitres. 1 pound (1lb) = approx 454 grams. Fragrance oil is generally added to candle wax at 1oz fragrance oil to 1lb of wax. By weight, this is approx 6% for paraffin wax (6g fragrance oil to 100g wax), and 6-10% for soy wax.
