There are a few different types, some which are specifically for use in candles, and some which can also be used in soaps and bath & body products (see below). They can all be used in oil burners, lamp rings, incense, reed diffusers, room sprays, pot pourri and all home fragrancing. We also stock UK Cosmetic Grade fragrance oils. They are manufactured in the UK to comply with EU regulations, and are suitable for melt and pour soap bases, cold process soap making, and other bath and body care products. If you make and sell your soaps or bath & body products, these fragrance oils can be included in your Safety Assessments without the need for additional allergen testing. MSDS data sheets and allergen data available upon request for your own records or if required by your Safety Assessor. They are also (mostly) suitable for candles (paraffin, vegetable, soy) but not gel - please check individual item descriptions for usage guidance. PLEASE NOTE: The rest of our fragrance oils are imported from the US. They are suitable for use in soaps and bath & body products in the US, but due to additional EU requirements they are not considered to be suitable for use in the EU without additional allergen testing to comply with EU regulations. If you are intending to use these for bath & body products outside of the US, you must be responsible for having them tested yourself. We cannot be held responsible for how these fragrance oils are used after purchase. All of our fragrance oils are suitable for paraffin, vegetable and soy wax, and there are a few which are suitable for gel candles (type GEL SAFE in the search box to find these.) All of our oils are 100% concentrated, we do not cut or dilute them for any reason, ever! US fragrance oils are measured by weight, not volume, but I don't think this is fair, and I will never send out a half-empty bottle! I will always fill my bottles to the exact fluid measurement that I have stated (or a bit more!) so you will always receive a full bottle of fragrance oil from my shop! 1 US fluid ounce (1oz) = approx 30 millilitres. 1 pound (1lb) = approx 454 grams. Fragrance oil is generally added to candle wax at 1oz fragrance oil to 1lb of wax. By weight, this is approx 6% for paraffin wax (6g fragrance oil to 100g wax), and 6-10% for soy wax.
