Fractionated coconut oil is a refined liquid form of coconut oil which has had the long-chain fatty acids removed via hydrolysis and steam distillation. This makes the oil liquid at room temperature, improves stability, and extends its shelf life.  Coconut oil has a high protein content and excellent moisturising properties, and has a very wide range of uses, including skin care products which nourish and soften the skin, fading stretch marks, relieving chapped lips, hair treatments, massage, shaving, and it also has natural antibacterial properties which can help soothe skin inflammation and eczema.
